Our goal is to make wholesome, lovingly crafted baby food from simple farm-inspired fruits, veggies, and playful blends—gentle on tiny tummies, big on flavor, and fun to feed.
Our Story
In May of 2026, I gave birth to my first son. My husband and I were elated and set out with the mission that when the time came to feed him solids and purees, we would make sure that everything he ate was fresh, thoughtfully prepared food made with simple ingredients. We watched the food industry shift around us and brainstormed ways to truly trust what we were feeding our baby boy. As I weighed how to begin and where to find reliable ingredients, I realized that if I wanted full confidence in what he was eating, I needed to be the one preparing his meals. As I was going down this road, I realized I am not the only mom who feels this way and came up the idea of Root + Belly.
Our Purpose
We are a dedicated, family-owned company based in Ocean County, NJ, crafting flavorful recipes that are, made with growing little bellies in mind. What truly sets us apart from competitors is that our purees are sold frozen—free from additives and preservatives. Our product contains only what you see and can taste: simple, honest ingredients and nothing else.
